Question
If I have an Automatic Funds Transfer (AFT) set up to make a loan payment and I make my payment another way, will it still transfer?

Answer

This will depend on how you set up the automatic funds transfer.

  1. If you set it up in your online banking, the available funds will transfer every time, no matter if you make a payment another way.
  2. If you set up your automatic funds transfer with a Notre Dame FCU representative, you can specify if you want the transfer to occur every time no matter if a payment is made another way or not.
  3. If you make a manual payment, then it MUST be made at least 3 days in advance of the scheduled funds transfer to keep it from withdrawing from your account via the AFT.
